Tours on the Brisbane River

We run a range of tours on the Brisbane River catered to suit most paddling abilities.  Tours are available for groups of 2 or more and can be booked through our online SHOP.

Sunset Picnic Tour

A leisurely 2 hour paddle on the Brisbane River watching the sun set over the grey gums with amazing views of the D’Aguliar ranges. Followed by a gourmet picnic platter and glass of wine on the banks of the river to enjoy the sunset!
Includes canoe hire, picnic platter and glass of wine.
Bookings available for groups of 2 and up

Moving Water Experience

A 3 hour down river paddle on the Upper Brisbane River between One Tree Canoe and Savages Crossing. Suitable for novice paddlers with reasonable levels of fitness. Introduces paddlers to moving water and a whole lot of FUN!!! Includes Canoe Hire and a guide to get you safely down the river.
Bookings available for groups of 4 and up


Our Factory and Hire Centre is located on a farm in the Vernor District, halfway between Fernvale and Lowood.  We have direct river access via our private launch site onto the stretch of water between Twin Bridges and Lowood Bend.

We offer canoe hire from our farm, or if you prefer you can take canoes away for paddling at another location.  All you need is a car with standard roof racks.  If you don’t have racks we can fit soft roof racks to most standard 4 door cars.

Canoe Delivery Service

One Tree Canoe offers a local canoe / kayak delivery service for Wivenhoe Dam and the Upper Brisbane River (Spillway to Kholo).  Pricing is based on delivery to and from our farm at Vernor and is $30 each way per trailer load.  Our trailer can transport up to 7 craft at a time (max length 16ft). We can carry 4 additional people in the car or can arrange a shuttle bus for additional people through Out There Cycling

We can also pick and drop to Somerset Dam, O’Shea’s Crossing and the Bremer River if required – $50 each way
